It's beginning to look alot like Christmas!

Every year, our families load up and go cut our Christmas trees. Except for Jessie & Mike, who have a fake tree that they put up several days after Halloween! This year, we loaded up in our 4 wheel drive trucks and went to Cedar Mountain to find the 'perfect' trees. Lloyd & I, Kim & Jeff and kids, Buddy & Tami and kids, Mandi & girls (Jake had to work), Patti & Sid and Cydnie, Cammie & friend, Linsey & Frank and Brooklin, Frank's brother Dom from California, Frank's best friend Rob, Darwin & Ellen Lamb (Jeff's mom), Bevin Lamb & girlfriend and sister, and newlyweds Kelly & Mesia Lamb went on this adventure. There was about 8" of snow, and the kids had a blast sliding on saucers and playing in the snow. A few of the older boys piled snow into a ramp and tried some snowboarding jumps, while some of the girls searched for and cut their own trees. We had home-made chili (even after cooking it all night..the beans were still not totally done! My BAD!), Kim's home-made rolls, Tami's oatmeal fudge bars, two kinds of Mandi's cookies, hot chocolate, and donuts to eat after the trees were cut. We all found our trees, and some of them were a bit funky...but they all looked beautiful when they got decorated. I think that a fun time was had by all. It has become a family tradition that I truly LOVE!
